The Research Associate contributes to the Joan Mitchell Foundation’s mission of cultivating research, scholarship, and exhibitions on the work and life of artist Joan Mitchell. This position plays a key role in the Foundation’s stewardship of her legacy through research, exhibitions, publications, the Foundation’s website, and public programs.
Reporting to the Artistic Director and working alongside the Education Director, the Community Director will take the lead on outreach, relationship creation and management across all Education & Community programs, and the administration of programs outside a school setting.
A4 is seeking a Development Manager to support the implementation of our fundraising strategy. The Development Manager works in close partnership with the Executive Director, cultivating a culture of giving within and beyond the organization.
The 5th Annual CUNY LGBTQI+ Student Conference theme is “Beyond the Rainbow: Centering Marginalized Voices in the LGBTQI+ Community”. This theme invites us to look past surface-level representation and visibility to engage in deeper, more meaningful dialogue about equity, inclusion, and intersectionality within our community.
Community boards are the grassroots of our local government. With 18 community districts, Brooklyn has the most community boards of all five boroughs, each one full of people who care about the well-being of their community.
Building on his administration’s stark success to amplify new voices and diversify Queens’ community boards, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. is now accepting applications from qualified and civic-minded individuals interested in serving on their local community board.
