The Southeast Asia Research Group (SEAREG) is launching a Postdoctoral Fellowship program that will begin in the summer of 2027 with one Fellow holding a 12-month position at one of four partner institutions located in Southeast Asia.

This program aims to connect Japan scholars from the U.S., Southeast Asia, and Japan to foster collaborative scholarship and strengthen Japanese Studies across these regions.

This program is designed to: (i) support institutions that face difficulties maintaining current levels of infrastructure for Japanese Studies in the U.S.; (ii) stimulate infrastructural interest in Japanese Studies at small or newer institutions without an established program of Japanese studies or those that lack personnel or resources; and (iii) provide support for particularly innovative … Read more

This program is designed to encourage innovative and sustained growth of the Japanese Studies field in the United States.

This program provides support to outstanding scholars, researchers, and professionals in the field by offering the opportunity to conduct research in Japan.

​​​​​​​The GO Queens Grant will fund Queens-based performing arts organizations to support their mission and work in the community. Flushing Town Hall will award forty-six $20,000 two-year grants ($10,000 per year) to Queens-based perfoming arts nonprofit organizations that have the performing arts as a core focus/component in their organization’s identity with annual operating budgets under $250,000.
