Applications due Weds, April 15. This workshop invites QC faculty to consider their pedagogy in the context of the place we call Queens. Drawing from interdisciplinary approaches to place-based education and pedagogies of writing, this three-day in-person workshop will include a mix of hands-on activities, hearing from different people across campus, and time to work on projects.

This program allows CUNY students to apply responsible AI skills to real business challenges while building practical experience and portfolio-ready work.
SEAC annually awards a small number of fieldwork grants for faculty, and pre-dissertation/dissertation research grants (which may include language training) for graduate students. Awards will be for up to $5,000. SEAC also will five grants of up to $1,000 each to support faculty publishing related to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asians, including in the diaspora.
We invite students, scholars, organizers and artists from all backgrounds to submit proposals that investigate what the recent victory of Zohran Mamdani as mayor reveals about the future of Asian American identity, the intersection of class and race, and the evolving strategies of civic engagement in an increasingly polarized era.
