The goal is to enable GC students who are, or will be, teaching in the CUNY undergraduate colleges to develop curriculum content related to China for core and elective courses in the social sciences and history and to discuss issues related to teaching on China.

Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs of Queens College, the Dean of the Asian American / Asian Research Institute (AAARI) leads, visions, and oversees the day-to-day and the long-term functioning of the Institute, ensuring its visibility, viability, and leadership in Asian American/Asian studies scholarship, advocacy, and outreach.
