The reception will introduce faculty and staff to the Asian American / Asian Research Institute; our mission as a university-wide scholarly research and resource center that focuses on policies and issues that affect Asians and Asian Americans; and available professional development opportunities and programs.
Asian American Arts Alliance Town Hall – February 2010
The Town Hall is the Alliance’s regular monthly gathering of artists and arts workers. Taking place the first Tuesday of every month, from 10am to 12pm, the Town Hall is a lively forum for people to announce news, learn about opportunities, and meet each other. Participants are invited to bring flyers and postcards, and to contribute food to the pot-luck buffet.

Conference On Eastern And Western Philosophical Themes
The purpose of the conference is to reinvigorate the dialog between Eastern and Western philosophy (philosophy as distinct from religion), and a galaxy of brilliant speakers from all over the globe have agreed to participate.
