Join us to celebrate the Asian American / Asian Research Institute’s 20th anniversary as part of The City University of New York! AAARI’s annual fundraiser is attended by 400+ Asian and non-Asian academic, business, civic and community leaders, faculty, staff and students. At the gala we will be honoring distinguished CUNY alumni, leaders from the community, and student scholarship recipients. Proceeds from the gala go towards AAARI’s academic publications and public programs such as lectures, annual conference, and student film festival.
As of Fall 2019, CUNY enrolled over 52,051 (21.6%) Asian undergraduate and 5,396 (17.9%) graduate students who will soon emerge as a vital segment of New York City’s workforce and leadership. There are tens of thousands of Asian American CUNY alumni working and living throughout New York and the country. AAARI engages the Asian American community within CUNY, New York City and beyond.
