2019 AAARI Annual Gala

Join the celebration! AAARI’s annual fundraiser is attended by 450+ Asian and non-Asian academic, business, civic and community leaders, faculty, staff and students. At the gala, AAARI will be honoring distinguished CUNY alumni, leaders from the community, and student scholarship recipients. Proceeds from the gala go towards AAARI’s academic publications and public programs such as lectures, annual conference, and student film festival.

As of Fall 2018, the Asian American representation in CUNY is over 64,160, with more than 6,578 (13.6%) faculty and staff, 5,192 (17.32%) graduate students and 52,391 (21.4%) undergraduates of Asian heritage. There are tens of thousands of Asian American CUNY alumni working and living throughout New York and the country. AAARI engages the Asian American community within CUNY, New York City and beyond.
