Conference on Korean Americans – Greetings

This is the first attempt at CUNY to bring together scholars and professionals to discuss the many facets of this vibrant community. Session topics include intergenerational transition, emerging Korea history and its cultural impact, as well as organization and empowerment issues. The goal is to build a stronger and better bridge between academia and the Korean American community. Students, faculty and community leaders are encouraged to attend this important conference to ensure continual focus on research and services related to this dynamic community.

Conference on South Asians in the U.S. – Greetings

To bring together scholars who are engaged in the study of South Asian communities in the United States, particularly those in the tri-state area. It aims to present research on South Asian communities including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The overview will comprise of demographic, social, and economic analyses of the emerging South Asian community. It will also feature presentations in the field of Arts, as well as issues related to South Asia.
