Dr. Thomas Tam Street Renaming Ceremony

A special ceremony was held to commemorate the co-naming of Cortlandt Alley on Canal Street to “Hon. Thomas Tam Way”, after the late Dr. Thomas Tam, the first Executive Director of the Asian American / Asian Research Institute, the first Asian member of the CUNY Board of Trustees, and a co-founder of the Chinatown Health Clinic now known as the Charles B.
