Job Op – TV Graphics Design Assistant (CUNY TV)

Job Overview: Reporting to the Director of Operations, with a secondary reporting line to the Head Graphics Designer, for daily task allocation, the TV Graphics Design Assistant will undertake the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties:
–       Collaborate in designing and implementing graphics design packages for in-house programming and marketing campaigns.
–       Assist with the production of design deliverables and ensure the quality of final products.
–       Prepare and operate on-air graphics and video roll-ins for live and live-to-tape studio and field productions.
–       Work closely with team leaders and program producers to develop new design concepts and ideas.

Qualifications:
–       2+years of creative experience with a primary focus on motion design
–       Strong design skills and excellent attention to detail
–       Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Adobe CC
–       3D animation skills (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya) a plus
–       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
–       Strong verbal and communication skills

Location: CUNY TV studios. 365 5th Ave. New York, NY 10016
In-Person/Remote: In-person
Hours/Days: 32./week. Monday – Friday
Hourly Rate of Pay: $31.83
Annualized Salary: $52,965.12
