Job Op – P/T Project Management/Social Media Assistant (CUNY TV)

Job Overview:
The Project Management/Social Media Assistant supports the production and promotion of “CUNY TV Presents: NYC Film Festivals.” Reporting to the Senior Producer, the Assistant handles project management and digital marketing, including managing film festival partnerships, processing submissions, and preparing broadcast and social media content. Additionally, the role involves supporting the station’s internship program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project phases, including task creation, scheduling, licensing, and deliverables. Maintain partnerships and manage film submissions and logistics. Organize materials for broadcast.
  • Develop and schedule social media content, such as posts and stories, to promote the show and feature films. Monitor and respond to social media interactions, using analytics to improve engagement.
  • Prepare orientation materials and support introductory sessions for new interns. Coordinate intern placement and timekeeping.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in project and social media management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and project management apps.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure.

Location: CUNY TV studios, 365 5th Ave, New York, NY 10016

Work Arrangement: In-person

Hours: 20 hours per week, up to 1,040 hours per year

Pay: $25.21 per hour
