Paper Cutting Workshop: Cutting Through Time

Explore the timeless craft of Chinese paper-cutting as you transform simple materials into intricate works of art. Learn traditional folding techniques, creating beautiful, symmetrical designs as you uncover the cultural symbolism and enjoy the meditative nature of this peaceful, hands-on practice.

This program is presented by Poster House’s CMYK Council, the museum’s BIPOC advisory board, in recognition of AAPI Heritage Month. It highlights the contributions and cultural impact of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities through the lens of art and culture.
