The Community Nutrition Educator is responsible for all aspects of nutritional education relating to the Nutrition Health Education program. The major duties of the position include,but are not limited to: Program Management – including key deliverables, reporting, quality assurance and improvement.
Recruit people who are HIV positive or at high risk for HIV infection, specifically to MSM POC to medical care; Provide navigation to patients on PEP and PrEP to engage and retain in care.
Conduct program promotion and recruit high-risk Asian & Pacific Islander (API) gay and non-gay identified men who have sex with men (MSM) and their sex partners in venues/locations/neighborhoods for individual HIV/STD/Hepatitis C testing and risk reduction counseling.
Conduct outreach to other community-based organizations to raise awareness of the unique needs of the LGBTQI API community and increase capacity to serve this population.
