2025 Bandung Residency (Asian American Arts Alliance)

The Bandung Residency presented by the Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) and The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), is an opportunity designed to uplift the work of organizers, artists, educators, and waymakers whose practice is intended to foster solidarity between Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Black communities. 

New N.C. bill would introduce AAPI history to school curriculum

A new bill in the N.C. General Assembly is calling for Asian American and Pacific Islander history to be taught in public schools. House Bill 835 would launch a statewide K-12 curriculum in 2026 that highlights the contributions and challenges of AAPI communities at local and national levels.

Building Bridges Documentary Fund Films 2024-25 (Center for Asian American Media)

The Building Bridges Documentary Fund provides funding for independent documentary films about the Muslim experience in the United States. The Fund’s goal is to support filmmakers and works that contribute to a fuller spectrum of narratives that need to be told in the context of what it means to be Muslim in the United States.
