The School of Education at The City College of New York (CCNY) seeks an Academic Advising Specialist to provide advising to undergraduate and graduate students in the division. The Academic Advising Specialist will report to the Dean and the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Student Services of the School of Education.
Chinatown Youth Initiatives (CYI) is looking for 4 program coordinators to work as a team and lead Chinatown Beautification Day (CBD) in September/October of 2026. Coordinators are expected to have prior leadership experience, strong teamwork skills, excellent project management skills, and a passion for the broader Asian American and Chinatown communities.
The Southeast Asia Digital Library Paper Award seeks papers from undergraduates concerning original research in Southeast Asian Studies, due June 30. The first-place winner will receive their choice of two books from the Cornell University Press catalog. Both first- and second-place winning papers will be published on the Southeast Asia Digital Library (sea.lib.niu.edu).

This program allows CUNY students to apply responsible AI skills to real business challenges while building practical experience and portfolio-ready work.
SEAC annually awards a small number of fieldwork grants for faculty, and pre-dissertation/dissertation research grants (which may include language training) for graduate students. Awards will be for up to $5,000. SEAC also will five grants of up to $1,000 each to support faculty publishing related to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asians, including in the diaspora.
