In 2025, based on available funding, NYCHA will offer several scholarships to support its residents in advancing their education and increasing their income and assets. These scholarships aim to assist eligible residents pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees at a City University of New York (CUNY) college. Each scholarship provides a one-time $1,000 award to recipients.
CEC is Charter-mandated to provide voter interpretation services in select jurisdictions in the following languages: Arabic, Bangla, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), French, Haitian, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Yiddish and Urdu. The Building Bridges Documentary Fund provides funding for independent documentary films about the Muslim experience in the United States. The Fund’s goal is to support filmmakers and works that contribute to a fuller spectrum of narratives that need to be told in the context of what it means to be Muslim in the United States.
Hunter College AANAPISI Project (HCAP) is currently seeking Undergraduate Research Assistants (URAs) to conduct research with Asian American communities during summer 2025 (June to August).
