The Thriving AANHPI Leadership Accelerator (TALA) is a groundbreaking initiative that supports leadership development and holistic thriving for under-resourced Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) college students in the NYC and SF Bay Areas. TALA is facilitated in partnership with The Asian American Foundation and Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute.
Summer Leadership Institute is a two-month program that consists of a series of weekly workshops pertaining to issues around Asian-American identity, history, politics, and more. Past workshop topics have included discussions around the history of Asians in America, settler colonialism and American imperialism, anti-blackness in Asian American communities, disability, and gender and sexuality.
