This year’s student interns have developed as their theme: the role of fake media is contributing to bias against these protected groups. Their slogan is: “Media has Smoke and Mirrors. Let’s make it Clear.” We’ve added a Written Works category with prizes up to $1500.

As an Immigrant Ambassador, you get the chance to work with NYCDOE students for an academic school year, keeping them engaged in their educational journey and supporting the preparation of their post-secondary goals. All APAICS interns will spend the majority of their time working on content-based projects that will support our national, regional, and local programs and initiatives. Interns will attend virtual professional development and networking events featuring elected officials and community leaders. Internship will start on or about September 6, 2022 through December 2, 2022.
