Advocates have collected nearly 11,000 reports of anti-Asian hate as of the end of 2021.
“I think people misunderstand the term ‘microaggression’ in a lot of ways, because the ‘micro’ doesn’t apply to the impact,” said one person who has been mistaken for others in their field.
Education, vaccines and social services are included in the $64.5 million worth of ideas Asian American leaders have for the upcoming state budget.
Mohammad K. Alam, who has served as Senior Registrar at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY) since 2013, will assume the role of Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management Services, effective March 1.
“An affront to one person is an affront to the entire Harvard community,” one group said.
“When the mainstream media has long forgotten about this story, it’s going to be… Asian America media that will continue to tell it.”
