The winning students—six from the Zicklin School of Business and one from the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences— will study abroad during the 2024 January Intercession or the spring 2024 semester.
Baruch College alumna Joyce Chan has been named a 2024 Schwarzman Scholar, one of the world’s most prestigious fellowship programs for graduate students. She was selected for this year’s 150-member cohort out of 4,200 applications received worldwide
The report was part of a set of research published Wednesday to capture Asian Americans in economic hardship on a quantitative and qualitative scale. The project drew from focus groups, as well as census and survey data.
Council Member Julie Won (26th District) and LaGuardia Community College/CUNY President Kenneth Adams co-hosted an event on March 22 honoring nine women from the Queens community for their selfless dedication, commitment to community service, and hard work.
