SEAC will award approximately five grants of up to $1,000 each annually to support faculty publishing related to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asians (including in the diaspora). The Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) is an eight-week intensive language training program for undergraduates, graduate students, professionals, and non-traditional students. Students learn speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills through classroom instruction and a full range of co-curricular activities.
