This event brings together community leaders, alumni, and students for an evening of celebration featuring cultural performances, a formal dinner, and award ceremonies recognizing leadership, achievement, and academic excellence within the CUNY community.
The Town Hall is the Alliance’s regular monthly gathering of artists and arts workers. Taking place the first Tuesday of every month, from 10am to 12pm, the Town Hall is a lively forum for people to announce news, learn about opportunities, and meet each other. Participants are invited to bring flyers and postcards, and to contribute food to the pot-luck buffet.
This forum includes a presentation by David Yap of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Policy Center, co-author of a recent study on the impact of dynastic politics in the Philippines.
This talk focuses on the intersection of community engagement and policy, exploring how legal frameworks impact Asian American populations and their access to rights and resources. It provides insight into strategies for advocacy and navigating legal systems to address issues of equity and justice.
