To present findings on South Asian communities, especially India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. This is the first attempt at CUNY to bring together scholars and professionals to discuss the many facets of this vibrant community. Session topics include intergenerational transition, emerging Korea history and its cultural impact, as well as organization and empowerment issues. The goal is to build a stronger and better bridge between academia and the Korean American community. Students, faculty and community leaders are encouraged to attend this important conference to ensure continual focus on research and services related to this dynamic community.
