The Asian American / Asian Research Institute’s celebrated its two year anniversary within the City University of New York on Thursday, November 20th, 2003 at Gum Fung Restaurant in Flushing, Queens. With over 500 distinguished guests in attendence, including Queensborough President Helen Marshall, and NYC Councilman John Liu, the annual banquet was a major success.
