Van Anh Tran

Van Anh Tran graduated with honors from Stanford University with a Bachelors of Arts in Public History and a Masters of Arts in Education. Following her time at Stanford, Van Anh was a history teacher in East San Jose. After working with Asian American and activist community organizations, she plans to pursue a career in education research and advocacy. Van Anh is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at Columbia University. Her research interests include refugee and second generation narratives, spaces of learning, notions of citizenship and belonging.
