As the 10-year anniversary of September 11th approaches, join us at a community hearing in to discuss and learn about the impact of 9/11 on the Muslim, Arab, Sikh, and South Asian communities in New York City.
This talk explores the political, social, and cultural landscape of Pakistan, examining key issues such as governance, security, and international relations. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the region’s challenges and the role of the diaspora in shaping its future.
Curated by Russell C. Leong, AAARI’s CUNY Thomas Tam Scholar at Hunter College; and Yibing Huang, Professor of Modern Chinese Literature at Connecticut College, Leong and Huang hope that this program will lead to more bilingual and bicultural dialogue.
