Florida lawmakers passed a bill Wednesday that would mandate K-12 schools to teach Asian American and Pacific Islander history in their standard curriculum.
Immigrant-headed households make up only 17 percent of the city’s population but constitute 21 percent of households earning below the “true cost of living.”
“Hollywood has an opportunity to further meet audience demand by continuing to invest in content that broadens how AANHPI people are represented on screen,” the report said.
