AAARI The fellowship is designed to enhance Black, race and ethnic studies scholarship and teaching at CUNY and is part of a $3 million, Mellon Foundation-funded initiative.
CUNY SPH doctoral student Thinh Vu was awarded the Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations (CEESP) fellowship for the second consecutive year. Vu will receive $14,400 to conduct research on mental health symptomatology among cancer inpatients and their family caregivers at the largest oncological hospital in Vietnam.
