SEAC annually awards a small number of fieldwork grants for faculty, and pre-dissertation/dissertation research grants (which may include language training) for graduate students. Awards will be for up to $5,000. SEAC also will five grants of up to $1,000 each to support faculty publishing related to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asians, including in the diaspora.
