AAARI Two Hunter alumni, Devashish “Dave” Basnet ’22 and Alexis Fisher ’21, have been chosen for the John Robert Lewis Scholars & Fellows 2025-2026 Fellowship that furthers the work of the late civil-rights hero, Congressman John R. Lewis.
GALECA will award a total of $3000 in scholarship funds to the top three contenders in the program. Students from all disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.

By sharing these poems alongside others in similar linguistic situations, we contribute to a global tapestry of voices, strengthening cultures too often deprived of visibility.
