Join the youth researchers of the Asian American / Asian Research Institute’s Localized History Project for a dynamic showcase of history, storytelling, and collectivity. Over the past year, our cohort (ages 16–22) has conducted deep-dive oral history and archival research. Now, they are opening their “living archives” to the community. Educators, activists, and friends are all welcome!
Interactive, “science-fair” style exhibition:
- Interactive Research Booths where you can talk directly with the historians.
- Creative Stations for zine-making and communal artwork.
- Live Storytelling sessions that bring oral histories to life.
Schedule:
- 6:00 PM: Doors Open / Open Gallery & Interactive Stations
- 7:30 PM: Featured Keynote Address
