For the past three years, Jeff Kim worked with district leaders in Anaheim Union High and scholars of Korean American history — many of whom are based in Southern California — to pioneer the first high school course dedicated to Korean American history.

She collaborated with two professors at Gallaudet University on the first ASL dictionary, laying the groundwork for a flourishing in Deaf identity over the last 50 years.
