Project Asian Health Education and Development (AHEAD) is a 9-week summer internship program designed to provide training and firsthand experience to undergraduate students interested in pursuing healthcare careers. Project AHEAD 2023 will take place from Monday, June 12, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023 and will be located in lower Manhattan.

Pres. Joe Biden signed into law on Wednesday a bill reauthorizing funding for the preservation of Japanese internment sites and creating a new $10 million federal grant program to promote education about Japanese American internment during World War II.

OCA 2023 Summer Internship Program

Undergraduate students (and recent grads) who identify as Asian American or Pacific Islander (AAPI) are highly encouraged to apply. The 2023 internship program will be in-person. All interns must relocate to Washington, D.C. for the duration of the program and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
