Job Op – Healthy CUNY Advocates

Healthy CUNY is hiring pandemic displaced workers who are CUNY students to serve as Healthy CUNY Advocates for the Spring 2022 semester. Students recruited for this program will receive paid training and ongoing support to develop communications campaigns that connect CUNY students to help with food insecurity and access to affordable healthcare.

CUNY SPH Welcomes Visiting Scholar Masako Tanaka

While in New York City, Dr. Tanaka will be collecting data to understand Nepalese migrants’ access to contraception and abortion services in NYC, as part of a comparative study with Japan.

Lincoln Center Internship

A paid, year-long, rotational, virtual arts administration internship for New York City undergraduates. Interns will gain substantive work experience in departments across the Lincoln Center campus.

Contemporary Asian American Activism: Building Movements for Liberation

Bringing together grassroots organizers and scholar-activists, Contemporary Asian American Activism presents lived experiences of the fight for transformative justice and offers lessons to ensure the longevity and sustainability of organizing. In the face of imperialism, white supremacy, racial capitalism, heteropatriarchy, ableism, and more, the contributors celebrate victories and assess failures, reflect on the trials of activist life, critically examine long-term movement building, and inspire continued mobilization for coming generations.
