7th Annual Banquet (2008)

Our Annual Gala is attended by 400+ Asian and non-Asian academic, business, civic and community leaders, faculty, staff and students.

The current Asian American representation in CUNY is over 40,000, with more than 3,600 faculty and staff, 3,500 + graduate students and 33,000 undergraduates of Asian heritage. There are tens of thousands of Asian American CUNY alumni working and living throughout New York and the country. AAARI engages the Asian American community within CUNY, New York City and beyond.

All ads must be received by Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 5PM EST, for inclusion in the AAARI souvenir journal, which will be distributed to attendees at the evening of the banquet.

Gala journal ads appear in the bound copy of the proceedings of AAARI’s earlier annual conference that are distributed to all Gala attendees and to the 200+ participants, panelists, sponsors and awardees who attended the conference and hundreds of community-based organizations and civic leaders. This year’s conference topic was entitled “Asian American Women.” The bound proceedings are not a simply a memento of the Gala, but a permanent reference that will be used again and again.
