Whether you are a new scholar or veteran researcher within a traditional discipline, you realize publishing nowadays is often a highly competitive and sometimes daunting task. Especially within newer interdisciplinary fields including Asian American and Ethnic Studies, Cultural Studies, Women’s Studies, and LGBT Studies, it’s often difficult to know exactly how to publish your cutting-edge research, be it in a traditional academic journal, popular media, or in book form.
