Ria Banerjee is an associate professor of English at Guttman Community College and consortial faculty at the Master's in Liberal Arts (MALS) program of the Graduate Center, CUNY. Her scholarly interests are in British and European modernism and post-World War II film. She has written for Modernism/modernity and the South Atlantic Review among other scholarly venues, on T. S. Eliot's plays, Virginia Woolf's early fiction, and D. H. Lawrence's short stories. She is currently at work on a monograph on spatiality in interwar British fiction. Banerjee teaches undergraduate courses in writing, literature, and media studies and graduate courses in film studies. In her free time, she plays with her cat and thinks about climate change.
