Ann Matsuuchi is an instructional technology librarian and professor at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY. Her research interests frequently intersect, and include science fiction, queer theory, comic books, technology, gender and online cultures. She has worked with numerous college courses that utilize Wikipedia in educational projects, in particular one that focuses on the work of Octavia E. Butler. She has also been an integral part of projects with libraries and archives using Wikipedia, increasing visibility and access to archival collections in a location where public history can be collaboratively built as an open access educational resource.
