Unity in Diversity: Culturally Informed Mental Health Care for Asian Communities

Join us for our second event bridging research, practice, and community engagement. Dr. Lisa Suzuki’s lab is working to understand the impact of race-based trauma in the Asian American community. The panel aims to familiarize participants with culturally tailored treatment, including specific techniques and questions employed in therapies, and explore intervention aspects designed specifically for the well-being of Asian and Asian American individuals.

- Nadine Chang – Senior Psychologist, Psychology Training Director, and Chair of the Asian Psychiatry Program Committee at Gracie Square Hospital
- Yu-Kang Chen – Clinical Psychologist and Training Director at Hamilton Madison House
- Medha Ghosh – Senior Policy Coordinator from Health at the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families
- John Wang – Chief Resident at the New York University Psychiatry Residency Training Program
