Stages of Resistance Symposia: Theater, Memory & the Power of Truth

Ma-Yi Theater Company’s two-day public forums bring together theatre artists, Filipino and Filipino American scholars, and community members to examine the experiences of artists working under political repression and the role of theatre in cultural organizing. The forums will explore how literary and artistic works engage questions of power, resistance, justice, and migration. They will also create space for dialogue, collaboration, and concrete proposals for future artistic production and community organizing.
