In this clinic, you will be paired with volunteer attorneys who will help spot risks through a practical compliance checkup covering IRS filings and government agency requirements, the board’s fiscal oversight obligations, and other legal requirements for operating a nonprofit organization.  

Please note that this clinic will not cover accounting practices, creating financial statements, or specific internal governance. Open to all nonprofit groups serving low-income New Yorkers.
