Opening Reception for The Noguchi Museum’s 2024 Artist Banners

The Noguchi Museum recently announced the winner and two finalists of our third annual Open Call for Artist Banners, highlighting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) artists based in New York City.
David Huang was selected as the winner, and his designs will be on view outside of the Museum for one year. The Museum will be celebrating David, along with runners up Jacqueline Qiu and Derek Zheng, at an opening reception for the new banners on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 6-8pm. This event is free and open to the public, although RSVP is required due to capacity limits. Please RSVP to rsvp@noguchi.org.
Please note, if you would like to view the special exhibition “Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within,” please arrive early as the second floor of the Museum will be closed after 6pm.
