NYS Senator John Liu 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration

Lunar New Year is just around the corner, and we are celebrating the Year of the Snake with our annual Lunar New Year celebration at Flushing High School! The festivities will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3 p.m.

Come for free food from local restaurants, live music, dances, and cultural performances.
The Year of the Snake, also known as the Baby Dragon, is an auspicious period in the Lunar New Year calendar, symbolizing wisdom, enlightenment, and longevity. As we prepare to celebrate with friends and family, we invite all in our community to ring in the new year and celebrate the Year of the Snake together.

This year’s Year of the Snake celebration is co-hosted by the REACH Coalition: Representing and Empowering AANHPI Community History.
