New York Chinese Cultural Center HOME Project 2026 Presents “Between Homes”

HOME Project 2026: Between Homes is a curated performance series featuring Chinese and Chinese diasporic artists working across dance, theater, and multidisciplinary performance.

Centered on the notion of “between-ness,” this year’s program explores home not as a fixed place, but as a shifting condition shaped by migration, memory, cultural inheritance, and contemporary life. The participating artists offer distinct perspectives on identity, belonging, and the experience of navigating between cultures, places, traditions, and contemporary realities.

The program brings together both professional artists and university-based student groups, reflecting a range of generations, artistic practices, and perspectives within the Chinese and Chinese diasporic community.
