Lan Zhenghui: The Weight of Ink – Opening Reception

The Chu-Griffis Asian Art Collection at Connecticut College is presenting a new exhibition, Lan Zhenghui: The Weight of Ink, in the Charles Chu Asian Art Reading Room in Shain Library through March 4, 2025. The exhibition will officially open on Thursday, December 5. Chu-Griffis curator Yibing Huang will make a brief presentation in the Charles Chu Asian Art Reading Room at 4:30 pm followed by a tour of the exhibition. Lan Zhenghui will present a recently completed 14-foot-tall ink painting, which will only be available for viewing during the opening. A light reception with wine and cheese will begin at 5:00 pm.
