A Two-Part Webinar Series

National Voter Registration Day on September 15th was only the beginning. Once voters are registered, the next challenge is making sure they have the information, confidence, and plan they need to actually participate. It’s Time to Get #VoteReady is a two-part webinar series designed to help nonprofits and community organizations guide voters from registration all the way to the ballot box.

Part 1: Voter Education — October 6 focuses on turning registered voters into informed and confident voters. Participants will learn how to help their communities check their registration, understand what is on the ballot, navigate voting rules and options, identify trustworthy sources, make a voting plan, and recognize misinformation without becoming partisan. The session will emphasize the role nonprofits play as trusted messengers and provide practical, easy-to-share resources organizations can use in their outreach.

Part 2: GOTV — October 20 shifts from information to action. With Election Day approaching, organizations will learn how to build an effective, nonpartisan Get Out the Vote strategy that motivates people to follow through on their voting plans. We’ll cover timely reminders, relational outreach, volunteer engagement, digital and in-person tactics, early voting promotion, overcoming common barriers, and creating a sense of momentum around participation.
