Domestic Violence Awareness Month Teach In & Open Mic

Dear Beloved Jahajee Community,

This Friday, October 23rd we will be coming together to host a community teach-in and open mic in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We will bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence and engage in learning. We will guide attendees through a few interactive activities and share resources for community members in need of support.

We will also feature performances from spoken word poet, Helena Rampersaud and Bharatanatyam dancer, Sangeeta Bahadur. And we invite all creatives to come through and share your art on the open mic.
