An Evening of Poetry: Emily Lee Luan and Jimin Seo

​Join acclaimed poets Emily Lee Luan and Jimin Seo for a poetry reading and conversation.

Emily Lee Luan is the author of 回 / Return, a winner of the Nightboat Poetry Prize, and I Watch the Boughs, selected by Gabrielle Calvocoressi for a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship. A 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Poetry and the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, her work has appeared in The Best American Poetry 2021, American Poetry Review, Lithub, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Rutgers University–Newark and is a 2023–24 Visiting Assistant Professor in the Syracuse University MFA program. 

Jimin Seo was born in Seoul, and immigrated to the US to join his family at the age of eight. He is the author of OSSIA, winner of The Changes Book Prize. His poems can be found in Action FokusThe Canary, annuletPleiadesmercury firs, and The Bronx Museum. His most recent projects were Poems of Consumption with H. Sinno at the Barbican Centre in London, and a site activation for salazarsequeromedina’s Open Pavilion at the 4th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
