“Roots & Resistance” emphasizes the core of being APIA in New York City: Community. As Asian American students, our responsibility extends beyond academics—we must learn from and engage with the diverse community members, activists, and organizations that strengthen our city. Whether through amplifying the stories of grassroots organizers or celebrating the artistry of Asian performers in NYC, uplifting community voices will reveal the resilience and creativity that shape our shared identity. At the 17th Annual NYC Asian American Student Conference, we hope to foster heartfelt connections across perspectives and experiences to create meaningful impact in our communities.
