Strengthening Education: Empowering Asian American Studies

This event will focus on empowering Asian American Studies (AAS) through a conference hosted by the Coalition for the Revitalization of Asian American Studies at Hunter (CRAASH). Students will advocate for enhanced institutional support for AAS, including increased funding, permanent faculty, and a stable program structure, in response to the program’s current deficiencies at Hunter College. The conference will feature notable speakers, performances, and workshops designed to inspire action and support for this vital academic field.
